This will be the ACU Sovereigns’ first game of the season outside Melbourne in what is an-all regional round.
Sovereigns are one of two teams yet to taste victory in four rounds.
Yarra Valley sits on the bottom in the 10-team championship division.
Geelong began the season impressively enough with wins in the opening two rounds, but has run into brick walls in the form the top two Melbourne Uni and Boroondara.
Coach Joh Curran has also had difficulty with consistency with the Sovereigns.
They put in some encouraging efforts, but this shapes as a tough one against the fifth-placed Cougar.
