Entries have been flooding in and now it’s time to vote for Ballarat’s Hottest Car.
From today, readers can go to thecourier.com.au and select their favourite machine from the online gallery.
The city’s petrol heads have been asked to send in a picture of their favourite car via The Courier’s iPhone app since Bathurst weekend and dozens of entries have been received.
The wide variety includes hot-rods, vintage vehicles and muscle cars – custom, standard and everything in between.
The entrant who receives the most votes will win tickets to the Regent Cinemas.
Daniel Pyne sent in a picture of his green 1967 Mustang Fastback.
Mr Pyne said the car had been done up like Steve McQueen’s Mustang from the 1968 film Bullitt.
He said the vehicle was now famous for being part of one of the best car chases in movie history.
All entries will feature in the online photo gallery, with voting to start today at thecourier.com.au.
The top 10 cars will be featured in The Courier on Saturday, and you can vote for your favourite out of the shortlist.
The winner will feature in The Courier next week and will receive a double pass to Regent Cinemas.
