The "is she or isn't she" queen Lara Worthington (nee Bingle) is up to her old ticks again.

The former reality TV star and model, 28, appeared on KIIS 1065's Kyle and Jackie O Show on Friday in what was dubbed a "radio exclusive" not to be missed, while other publications said she would be making a "big announcement" as rumours floated once more about whether she might be pregnant with her second child.

But when she turned up for the much-hyped interview slot, the subdued fashionista said any pregnancy news was "personal" to herself and her actor husband, Sam Worthington, and she was just popping by to say "hi".

Worthington, who won the coveted Readers' Choice award at the InStyle Women of Style Awards in Sydney on Thursday night, said: "Being pregnant is such a personal thing for a woman.

"Sam and I, it should just be between us and our close family. I just find it weird when people ask me," the social media aficionado added.

Despite being an open book for years as she reigned supreme as Sydney's top socialite, Worthington turned over a new leaf when she met the uber private actor. She would not confirm or deny their marriage for almost a year, while at the same time posting heavily veiled clues of a baby bump on social media.

Apart from her beloved carrot dangling, Worthington was more open about motherhood, her love for her husband and not surprisingly, spruiking her businesses and perfume deals.

She said in the past she would love four children, but after having 13-month-old Rocket Zot, she's since changed her mind.

"Since having Rocket, maybe not four… it is life changing," she laughed, although she revealed the Avatar star "would have many" children.

When it came to the Perth-born thespian, she gushed: "He is the best, the best father, the best husband … He is my best friend. Having a child has just enhanced our relationship."

While the tyke is back in New York with his dad, Worthington said the main thing she likes to do when she is away from him is "sleep".

"That extra bit of sleep in the morning is a dream," she laughed again.

The pair are very down-to-earth with the Being Lara Bingle star revealing they have no nanny and catch Ubers to get around NYC.

She works at night on her lifestyle site and range The Base as that's the Australian daytime, and gets all fan-girly when she spots her neighbour Naomi Watts taking her two boys to school around the corner from the Worthington's apartment.

Worthington said she didn't know Watts enough to say hi but added that she "loves" her (us too!).

Meanwhile, Worthington is due to begin filming Avatar 2 at the end of the year in LA.
