We are desensitised to live trade cruelty

In reply to Jason Baker's letter (October 4): "Australia must put an end to live exports", I fully agree with you Jason.

Australians have become desensitised to this extreme suffering of our innocent animals exported to countries where their life ends in agony, no compassion or remorse is shown.

They are destined from the day they leave Australian shores to whatever destination, to a life of hell and atrocities committed against them one could not imagine.

Its about time the Australian public was made aware of the horrific cruelty inflicted on our innocent animals exported to these hell holes and then hopefully they will take action like you and myself to make the Australian government aware of our feelings and concerns about the cruel treatment inflicted on our animals exported to countries, who don't care about the well-being of innocent animals.

The live animal export trade must stop.
