The BDMBA will have its 40th birthday in July and is looking for past members, and their offspring to help celebrate.
Organiser Michelle Bowler said the group was started as the Ballarat Twins Club on July 29, 1976, and was originally for “mums to get together and discuss their problems”.
Ms Bowler, mother of triplets Molly, Amelia and Jacob, 2, said the mums in the group had always been very supportive of each other. “We all understand how crazy it is. It’s rewarding but really hard work,” Ms Bowler said.
She said they would all love to reminisce with past members. “It would be great to hear their stories and we’d love to hear from the people who started it and to celebrate it’s still going 40 years later.”
