Rebels skipper Jarrod Berry was part of the successful 2015 side and has been selected in this year’s group alongside teammates Willem Drew, Hugh McCluggage, Jarrod Korewha, Tom Williamson, Shannon Beks and Lloyd Meek.
The seven boys are part of a 36-strong squad, which will be used throughout the AFL under-18 national championships.
Victoria Country, to be coached again by Paul Henriksen, begins its campaign with a clash against Western Australia on June 5.
Meanwhile, the Rebels are preparing for their TAC Cup clash with Eastern Ranges this Saturday.
McCluggage and James Gow will miss the match due to respective rib and hand injuries, while Sam White is out due to illness. However, North Ballarat will welcome back Jake McQueen, who has overcome a corked quadriceps, and Nick Hausler, who enters the side after some impressive form at Koroit.
The Rebels, chasing a fifth-straight victory, will also debut exciting youngster Keegan Gray, who has been selected as the 23rd player following his efforts with home club Portland.
In other news, Rebels high performance coach Matt Battistello has been named as head coach of the Victoria Country under-16 side.
He replaces new Murray Bushrangers coach Leon Higgins in the role.
