To highlight this work, botanic gardens from Australia and New Zealand are hosting their first Botanic Garden Australia and New Zealand Open Day celebration on Sunday 29 May.
Everyone is invited to the Ballarat Botanical Gardens to be a part of activities from 10am to 1pm:
Pop-up family fun activity with Ballarat BotaniKids. Meet at the Robert Clark Horticultural Centre 10am – 1pm. Children must be accompanied by one adult to participate in children’s activities
Bring the extended family or just you and do a guided tour. 11 – 12pm. This is the last Sunday for these free public tours until they commence again in the Spring
Visit the Friends of Ballarat Botanical Garden nursery. Plants for sale from 10am-1pm.
