JAKE Edwards is a superstar in the BFL and he showed why by leading reigning premier Darley to an upset win over North Ballarat City at Darley on Saturday.
Playing his first game for the season after recovering from a foot injury suffered in a VFL practice match with Geelong, he starred as Darley again had the better of City – just as it did in last year’s grand final.
Although it was only the Devils’ second win of the season, they are now just percentage out of the top six.
North Ballarat is now fifth after back-to-back defeats.
