Freya Josephine Hollick is touring extensively in the lead-up to the release of her album, The Unceremonious Junking of Me, which explores old-world charm and heartache spawned from the experiences of motherhood, children and failed romance.
Her album will be released through Ballarat label, Heart of the Rat, in October this year on vinyl, CD and digital, after being recorded in the Main Bar.
Hollick’s new video clip for lead single My Sleepin’ Body – a vintage-inspired irreverent fantasy that sees the singer being chased through the woods by an evil witch, a spaceman and a matador – has just been released by Melbourne production company Balloon Tree Productions.
She will officially launch the single in Ballarat at the Main Bar on June 25, with supporting acts Mike Noga and Joshua Seymour.
