Three volunteer groups in the Moorabool Shire will receive more than $11,000 as part of the Coalition government's $20 million Volunteer Grants Program.

The Bacchus Marsh Community Radio Group Inc (Apple FM) will receive $4,300 while Friends of Werribee Gorge and Long Forest Mallee Inc. will receive $2,160 and the the Lady Northcote Association will receive $5,000.
Federal Member for Ballarat Catherine King announced the grants while on Apple FM earlier this week.
Friends of Werribee Gorge & Long Forest Mallee Inc. will use the funds for power tools and equipment, while the Lady Northcote Association will spend its allocation on computer equipment, reimbursement of fuel costs and first aid safety.
