Opening up this year’s Winterlude festival, Seriously Shiraz will host the best winemakers in the district to meet with sippers one-on-one.
One of those winemakers is 35-year-old Adam Louder of SubRosa.
Mr Louder, based at Mount Cole, started his winemaking career at Best’s Great Western in his school holidays at just 15 years of age before working at Mount Langi Ghiran under Trevor Mast for eight years.
He has since lived and made wines in the USA, the Margaret River and Bordeaux in France and has churned through 30 vintages, five wine regions and three countries.
Seriously Shiraz will be held at the Ballarat Mining Exchange on June 25 from 1pm to 6pm.
Tickets are $30 on the door, and include a souvenir wine glass that patrons can use for tastings throughout the afternoon.
