The Ballarat girls are fifth on the Football Federation Victoria women’s state league one north-west table after back-to-back wins over Bundoora United and Lara United.
Both results have seen the Eureka Strikers keep clean sheets, with the team’s last defeat coming against Preston Lions in late May.
On Sunday, Ballarat will take on a second-placed South Melbourne outfit that it lost to 4-2 back in round two.
Stand-in Ballarat manager Laura Brady said Erin Plucke and Vanessa Yung were unavailable this weekend, which will see Jasmine Emselle promoted from the development squad to the senior side.
