FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a bus fire and truck fire as they attended three vehicle fires overnight.

They attended a bus fire at Thrifty bus rental just after midnight and less than an hour later were called to a truck fire at Miners Rest in Howe Street.
Earlier firefighters had extinguished a car fire in Soldiers Hill at 11.30pm.
