Burrumbeet trots trainer-driver Michael Stanley is looking to what has the potential to be one of the biggest moments in his career at Melton on Saturday night.

Stanley took six runners into Vicbred Super Series semi-finals and qualified every one for a group 1 final.
Two-year-old filly Petacular was the stand-out performer for his team – working home from last to win her semi-final.
“The race probably didn’t pan out ideally, with an easy lead time and easy first quarter, but (Petacular) has got a bit of toughness and class about her and did the job nicely,” Stanley said.
“She’s improving all the time.
“You only have to look at her to know she hasn’t filled out and has a lot of growing to do,” he said.
Petacular began her career with a win on debut in Ballarat in January.
She now boasts five wins in seven starts for $75,628. These include two wins at Menangle and a third in the group 1 Australian Pacing Gold final at that track.
Stanley will also have Soho Angel in the 2yo fillies’ final.
“The other heat looked like the stronger heat, but she is in there with a fighting chance and with a good draw we will see what happens,” Stanley said.
His other four finalists are spread across the 3yo fillies’ and colts/geldings, and 4yo mares’ divisions.
Soho Tokyo is having her sixth start in a group 1 event.
While she is yet to break through at this level Soho Tokyo has twice been placed second.
West Australian reinsman Gary Hall junior will drive two of Stanley’s runners – Soho Angel and Ideal Lifestyle.
