FRIDAY night's great for going out, but the girls at Crawford's Pharmacy are staying in this week for a good cause.
A Cancer Council Australia initiative, Girls' Night In is a chance to catch up with friends, have fun and raise money for women's cancers.
With two staff members battling cancer, Crawford's Pharmacy has already raised several hundred dollars as part of the event, but are hoping for more before Friday night.
The pharmacy's Jo Lardner is hosting a Girls' Night In at her house to help her workmates take the fight to women's cancers.
She said a night full of pyjamas, games and a few drinks should make for a fabulous evening.
"Our goal was $600, but we've already raised that, so now we're just hoping to raise as much as possible," she said.
"We've been running a raffle by guessing how many M&Ms are in a jar and we're going to be playing a rule game, where we have to donate every time one of us breaks a rule."
Ms Lardner encouraged other women to host a Girls' Night In during October.
Simply invite the girls over for a fun night in and ask them to donate what they usually spend on a night out.
Every year in Australia around 17,500 women are diagnosed with breast or gynaecological cancer.
All the money raised will help Cancer Council fight women's cancers through prevention programs, support services and world-class research.
