THE Live Your Dream Senior Star Quest has doubled in size every year and seems destined to grow even further.
The third annual talent showcase was held at Bray Raceway yesterday in a massive event attended by more than 600 people.
Performers from across the state who had qualified for the final hit the stage in an extravaganza of singing, dancing, comedy and many more forms of entertainment.
Event organiser Garry West said the huge turnout and great atmosphere at the event meant it was only destined to grow in future years.
“We think we could get upwards of 1000 people when we hold it next year,” he said.
The star quest attracted almost 300 entries this year, with 38 making it through to yesterday’s final. Ages ranged from 55 to 94 years old.
First prize went to George Liew of Burwood while the runner-up was Bendigo’s Bill Naim.
Hallam’s Veronica Joy Meijer took out third prize.
