New research has also revealed that children aged 15 are the state's most prolific youth criminals. The research, compiled by the Crime Statistics Agency, reveals that more than a third of the state's young criminals are 14 and 15-year-olds.
The information about 15 year old offenders comes from table one, which shows you the average number of incidents recorded for offenders by age, which shows that 15 year olds had an average of 2.9 incidents per offender in the 12 months to March 2016. The research also showed that 15 year olds were more likely to reoffend compared to offenders under 18 over the past year.
