CRIME Stoppers and Ballarat Police are appealing for public assistance in relation to a theft which occurred at Myer in Ballarat.
At 1pm on August 3, a man entered the store and collected several items of men’s clothing, including shirts and jeans.
He then left through the main entrance on Sturt Street. Police say the man then spoke to a driver of a waiting taxi, but ran off as security staff approached.
The man is described as approximately 180 centimetres tall, weighing 80 kilograms, Caucasian, clean shaven with dark hair.
He was wearing an Everlast brand cap, blue jeans, white Everlast shoes and black jacket.
Police have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them in their enquiries.
CRIME Stoppers and Ballarat Police are appealing for public assistance in relation to an assault at The Grapes Hotel in Ballarat.
At 10pm on Monday, August 27, the assault occurred at the Grant Street hotel.
=Police wish to speak with a male suspect, described as having sleeve tattoos down each arm and tattoos on his upper chest, with one appearing to depict the face of a woman.
The man was wearing a blue singlet on the night of the assault.
Police have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist them in their inquiries.
