POLICE allege an unlicensed driver failed to stop for police in Bacchus Marsh and continued to travel before he was stopped and arrested in Creswick with the help of the airwing.

The 25-year-old Ballarat man was allegedly travelling west on Pentland Hills Road near the intersection of the Western Freeway at 1.10am on Thursday.
Police say they attempted to intercept the vehicle but allege the driver did not stop the car which continued towards Creswick.
Police did not pursue, but the vehicle was monitored by the airwing.
The driver allegedly pulled over at Pasco Street, Creswick and fled, with a 22-year-old woman, on foot.
The dog squad was called in and the pair were arrested.
The 25-year-old was charged with drive in a manner dangerous, unlicensed driving and fail to stop on police request.
He has been bailed to appear at the Ballarat Magistrates Court at a later date.
The 22-year-old was released pending further enquiries.
