She told The Courier that a cash flow issue was impacting on fulfilling the latest payment instalments for North Ballarat Roosters (VFL) and North Ballarat City (BFL) players.
Bromley said while it was unfortunate, she had no doubt the club would fulfill all player payment commitments before the contract period ended.
She said the cash flow problem went beyond football club operations.
The NBFC operates under the umbrella of the North Ballarat Sports Club, which provides financial support for the football arm of the organisation.
North Ballarat City president Steve Darbin gave his support to Bromley, saying he could categorically state that every City person would be paid their entitlements as it has each and every year.
“This year is certainly no exception and I can ensure everyone that there is certainly no reason to be concerned,” he said.
Football club director Shaune Moloney addressed Roosters players on the matter before training on Thursday night.
Bromley said the club was working through a strategy to overcome the situation.
Players on the Roosters’ list are paid on a monthly basis.
She said all payments had been fulfilled up to end of June.
Bromley said the cash flow problem had only impacted on part of the latest instalment for July.
