A 15-year-old Coburg boy has been charged following a series of armed robberies in Melbourne's north.

The teenager is the fourth person to be charged in relation to 10 incidents where taxi drivers were targeted by armed thieves.
The armed robberies are alleged to have occurred in Brunswick between June 5 and June 15.
Police arrested the 15-year-old after he attended a court hearing for a person already charged in relation to the robberies.
When police approached the teenager, he ran from court.
He was later arrested on the corner of Elizabeth and Little Lonsdale streets, before being taken to Fawkner Police Station.
There, the 15-year-old was charged with theft, assault with a weapon, unlawful assault, burglary, assaulting police and resisting authorities.
He was released on bail and is due to appear before the Children's Court of Victoria on August 26.
Police in June arrested two other teenagers, as well as a 24-year-old Broadmeadows man, in relation to the alleged armed robberies.
