Selkirk Roosters coach Marc Greig is not about to accept that though.

He is desperate to get a win over one of the big players. The Roosters have given a few a scare, but have been able to deliver.

To give North Ballarat its best chance against Sandringham, Greig is planning to be as tactically proactive as possible with the objective of taking the Zebras out of their comfort zone.

“We’re not going to sit back and allow them to dictate terms. We’ll try a few things they won’t be expecting.”

The Roosters took this approach against Port Melbourne with some success when it threw Rowan Marshall into the midfield.

Marshall will return to his more regular role as a key defender this round and line up against St Kilda’s Paddy McCartin.

Greig said this would be a great test for Marshall, who had been invited to the state combine testing day leading up to the national AFL draft.
