I purchased four items at a local chain store, three were marked down by felt pen, but not at beeper. At $32.72 I was overcharged a total of $2.50, about 8 per cent.
Whilst generally good, I have seen past isolated overcharging instances on ad hoc checks.
Some retailers in the past have given me the items for free upon reporting.
Policy now is to only refund the difference. They can win, but not lose.
I honestly believe it was not deliberate, and I accept their apology. Buyer beware.
