How good are Fridays! I love how good of a mood everyone is in on the last day of the week. And the added treat of some sunshine made today all the better!
To celebrate mine and my partner's recent engagement we're heading out to The Bunch of Grapes with our friends for dinner tonight. I haven't been there since it’s been done up so I'm excited to check it out. Apparently it books up fast so if you're thinking of doing the same, I'd suggest you call well in advance.
If a bit of live music is what you're in the mood for then there is a concert on at the Art Gallery of Ballarat which you could head along to. Australia's foremost Scottish music duo Chris Duncan and Catherine Strutt are featuring and their music is said to bring to life the sensitive slow airs, the swing of the jig and groove of the reel. The concert kicks off at 7pm - 9pm. You can buy tickets for $25 by phoning the Art Gallery of Ballarat on 5320 5858 or online at www.artgalleryofballarat.com.au
The other cool thing which is on tonight is at the Creswick Courthouse Theatre. The classic movie Paint your Wagon is screening at 7.30pm. You can bring your own supper and entry is by donation. The courthouse is located in Raglan Street, Creswick. For more information you can phone 0467 660 591 or visit www.creswicktheatre.com
Enjoy your weekend! Good luck to everyone participating in Run Ballarat!
