Rattley landed a joint success with Newlyn onballer Dan Wehrung last year, but secured an outright three-vote win this season.
The Bulldogs star played all 17 matches in the club’s campaign and polled 35 votes to finish three clear of Skipton’s Mitchell Jones, with Carngham-Linton’s Josh Benfield a further three behind in third place.
The Courier footballer of the year is decided with a 3-2-1 voting system, awarded by opposition clubs throughout the home and away rounds.
