Elliott, a Central Highlands interleague representative in his first year with the Demons, has been battling a rib issue picked up in the round 16 encounter against Hepburn.
This kept him out for Sunday’s nine-point qualifying final loss to reigning premiers Springbank, with coach Heath Pyke labeling him a 50-50 chance to be fit for this weekend’s battle against the Burras.
Pyke said the club would likely make a final call on his fitness on Friday or Saturday, but did rule out defender Jason Brown with an ankle injury.
Hepburn kept its season alive with an elimination final triumph over Beaufort and comes up against a Demons outfit that beat it by 22 points just a few weeks ago.
Burras coach Jason Olver said there was unlikely to be any change to the line-up that beat the Crows.
