Harding needed to be stretchered off the ground following a wayward side-on tackle in the 52nd minute which earned Whittlesea’s George Slefendorfas a yellow card.
Reds coach James Robinson described the challenge as a “horrendous tackle”.
The injury comes after Harding spent almost two months on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
