Jayva Goriss-Dazeley was selected as the nation’s gloveman for the tour of China after impressing selectors in April.
Goriss-Dazeley displayed his talents in Ballarat’s academy side earlier this month, with the side progressing through the Victorian State Futsal League Championships undefeated just months after claiming the Southern Australia Titles.
The tour of China comes one year after the Ballarat keeper received the call-up to guard the goals for the national under-11s side at a tournament in Hawaii, where they finished runners-up.
The experienced young keeper has proven himself as a safe pair of hands in both the indoor and outdoor forms of the game, playing with the Ballarat Red Devils’ under-12 and under-13 sides over the past three years.
