Wonder no more. This weekend the Ballaarat Mechanics’ Institute will open its doors to the public.
From 10am until 5pm on Saturday, members of the public are invited to see, hear, experience and enjoy what is the Ballaarat Mechanics’ Institute.
The program will include exhibitions, photography, displays, music, film, theatre, poetry, talks, and unique items from the BMI collection. As part of the open day, the Max Harris Photography Collection will be launched at the institute.
But it will be night when the institute will be transformed to a evening of vintage cinema and music.
