Each earned a direct path into the premiership play-offs, and the week off which goes with it, with wins in the second semi-finals after each topped the ladders.
Celtic dominated Wildcats Gold by 39 points in the men’s opening week of finals, led by Tristan Fisher.
He shot 21 points and was well supported by Ross Weightman, 18, and Jamie Constable, 11.
Celtic stretched the lead out to 13 points in the first half.
Wildcats do not have a high scorer, needing to rely on a team effort.
While it helped them finish second in the regular season, this approach could not peg back Celtic in the second half.
The Jew brothers of Chris, 8, Michael, 8, and Stephen, 4, battled hard for Wildcats, which were unable to break down Celtic’s youthful offence.
Wildcats Gold will face another young team in Phoenix, which got the job done against Wildcats 59-54, in the preliminary final.
Celtic Tigers Green had to work hard in a low-scoring, high-intensity women’s A grade second semi-final to defeat Exies Acmy by nine points.
Each plays a similar defensively based game.
Celtic rallied around Prue Scott, 9, and Claire Constable, 7, to get over the line.
Kasey Burton was major contributor for Exies with 12 points in her side’s defeat.
Exies get a second chance to stay in the premiership hunt against Saints, which cruised past Wildcats 45-39.
