Warrnambool has secured its place in the Ballarat and District Soccer Association women’s grand final with a convincing 4-1 success against North United on Sunday.

Shkara Rantall got the minor premier off to a good start by scoring in the first five minutes, however North United were quick to respond, with Jessica Dart finding the back of the net to put the sides level at the break.
However it was all one-way traffic in the second half as Warrnambool took charge.
A hattrick after half time to Isobel Stewart proved the difference as Warrnambool ensured its place in the final fixture of the year.
Meanwhile North United will have to do battle with Vic Park White for a place in the decider after the Vultures accounted for the Sebastopol Vikings on Saturday.
Kirsten Rush opening the scoring for the Vultures in the 13th minute, however the Vikings’ Lucy Brennan found a response 10 minutes out from half time to put the two on level-pegging heading into the break.
The result was decided in the 72nd minute when Taliesin Nunes found the back of the net.
