Cool way to support cancer fighters

A BALLARAT ice cream distributor has come up with a cool way to support those in the community who are fighting cancer.

Ballarat Ice-Cream Distributors’ owners Lenny and Kara Quinlan have got behind Support4Cancer to help raise funds for patients and families on the cancer journey by donating money from the sale of a new product.

The Quinlans have decided that for each of the new Streets’ Magnum Strawberry White Crumbles sold, 10 cents will be donated to Support4Cancer.

The new Magnums will be available from Ryans IGA at Pleasant Street, Midvale, Northway and Torquay, BP Ballan (eastbound and westbound), BP Skipton Roadhouse, Buninyong News, Buninyong Foodworks, Meredith General Store, Meredith Roadhouse, The Dunes at Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads IGA, Aireys Inlet General Store, Lorne Foodworks, Hanson Petroleum and Apollo Bay Foodway.

Support4Cancer founder Colleen Thompson said all money raised through charity events – including from the sale of the new ice cream – helped people in Ballarat and the surrounding area who were struggling with cancer.
