BACKS: Daniel Velden - A loyal player with more than 200 games under his belt. Has had some big jobs in defence, but has nerves of steal and never panics. Super reliable who can either provide a springboard or link in the chain.

BACKS: Rhys McNay - One of the Cobras' tall options with an ability to provide support in the ruck, forward or back. Has the ability to take a big grab just when it is needed most either in a defensive or attacking moment.

BACKS: Trent Angwin - Another of those to cut their teeth at junior level at Maddingley Park and go on to be a consistent contributor. Does his best work in defence. Roles do not always have him in the spotlight, but knows how to get the job done.

HALF BACKS: Alec Del Papa - Returned to his home club after a year with Werribee in the VFL with an immediate impact. Strongly built onballer who looks at home whether pushing back or pushing forward.

HALF BACKS: Hamish Coulton - Promising teenager who won the BFL rookie of the year. Classy midfielder/defender who has had a big say through his running power, which is complemented by a safe pair of hands and copybook disposal.

HALF BACKS: Tyson Shea - Inspirational and popular leader who has given his all to the club with eight best and fairests in a decade. Leads by example with a fearless attack on the ball at ground level and stoppages.

CENTRES: Matthew Sutherland - Goes about his tasks without any fuss. A great team player through the midfield. Not unusual to see him bobbing up at either end of the ground.

CENTRES: Jayden Trowsdale - In his first season with the club and one of its smallest players. Tough as nails though who likes nothing better than burrowing in hard and taking the opposition on head-on. Strong in clearances.

CENTRES: Logan Blundell - Among the numerous Cobra junior graduates. Explosive type with enormous pace and ability to break lines and give rival midfields and defences constant headaches. Can bob up with a goal or two.

HALF FORWARDS: Jarrah Makysmow - Has made an enormous impact, including dynamic finals season, since being signed late. Powerfully built with ability to either play as a high forward and drop deep into attack. Booming kick for goal.

HALF FORWARDS: Liam Mullen - Can play as a foil to teammates who attract the most attention, particularly in attack. Another ex-Bacchus Marsh junior.

HALF FORWARDS: Damian Cupido - Surprise recruit after the start of the season offering AFL experience with Essendon and Brisbane, leadership and a massive physical presence in attack. Strong mark and deadly long kick at goal.

FORWARDS: Lachlan Phyland - Has found his feet with a highly consistent season. Goes about his work without any fanfare, but is a reliable user of the football and strong overhead.

FORWARDS: Cameron Richardson - Former coach with AFL and VFL experience. Has struggled to find full fitness this year, but remains a potential match-winner as a high marking forward in a potent attack.

FORWARDS: Declan Phyland - Highly elusive onballer/midfielder who is one of the Cobras' biggest possession-getters. Extremely difficult to tie down, having an ability to slip away into space and run the lines.

RUCKS: Daniel Burton - A boom recruit who has developed in the BFL's number one ruckman. Has shown himself to be a match-winner though his ruck work and even more significantly his marking and creativity around the ground.

RUCKS: Coby Millar - Took last year off, but this homegrown player has not missed a beat in his return. Steady contributor who has filled a mix of assignments.

RUCKS: Jackson Bolton - An integral member of a group which looks comfortable no matter where he plays. Goes about his work in a no fuss way and has consistently shown he is can make an impact when it counts most.

INTERCHANGE: Simon LaFranchi - Super reliable who does his best work as a running defender and intercepting mark. The type of player every team needs to put the finishing touches to a complete a team.

INTERCHANGE: Kane White - Has a no nonsense approach to the game, with a fearless attack on the football. Strong contested mark who gives teammates confidence. Has enjoyed an excellent finals series.

INTERCHANGE: Liam Noonan - Versatile player who has shown the ability to slot into various roles. One of many former Cobra juniors to have played the bulk of the games in a stable line-up.

INTERCHANGE: Matt Denham - Returned from Canberra to add class and zip to Bacchus Marsh's small running brigade and become one of the BFL's most prolific ball-winners. Has complemented new-found aerial power across the ground.

Coach: Travis Hodgson - First year coach with vast experience. A former Sunbury premiership player.
