Together for more than 20 years, the trio – comprised of Helen Ayres, Anna Goldsworthy and Tim Nankervis – is known as one of the country’s best classical groups.
This Schubert performance is part of the group’s year-long immersion in the great Austrian composer’s works.
Schubert has been described as the most poetic musician who ever lived, and Seraphim Trio’s aim is to bring audiences into this lyrical, intimate world.
The trio has a goal of developing new audiences for classical and chamber music, and to teach the next generation of performers.
Seraphim Trio will perform this Wednesday at the Oddie Gallery at the Art Gallery of Ballarat from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Tickets are $15-$35. For more details, visit www.artgalleryofballarat.com.au
