The tall tipped out fellow Roosters player Daniel Cox and Jordan Treloar in the final show to claim the ultimate prize – an AFL contract.
All 18 AFL clubs were represented and voted on the three finalists on a 3-2-1 basis.
After being announced as the winner, it was revealed GWS Giants, Collingwood and Brisbane Lions had declared their interest to draft Eagles.
Eagles then selected the Lions to be his home club in 2017.
Brisbane finished second last on the ladder this season and is currently without a senior coach following the sacking of Justin Leppitsch last month.
