The onballer took out the award for the second year in-a-row as the North Ballarat Roosters’ best and fairest player.
He was crowned the winner for 2016 at Saturday night’s presentation evening.
Originally from Swan Hill, Kiel polled 243 votes to finish as a clear victor from Nick Rippon (150) and Rowan Marshall (141).
Kiel also took out the Polkinghorne Award as the most valuable teammate, which is voted on by the North players. In these standings, he finished clear of Marshall and Tony Lockyer.
Kiel’s season included 17 Victorian Football League matches, where he was named in the Roosters’ best on 12 occasions.
One of the night’s other big presentations was made to Tom Templeton, who was adjudged best first year player.
