Tanya Templeton said her husband Chris bought Scragger because he was such a huge Western Bulldogs fan.
Their neighbour Andrew Hooper, now a North Ballarat Rooster, was rookie drafted to the Bulldogs in 2009 and the rest of the Templeton family quickly became passionate club supporters.
Besides, Ms Templeton said Bulldogs were pretty special creatures.
“They’re just got great personalities,” Ms Templeton said. “They are disgusting, they drool a lot, so most people either like them or they don’t. We think they’re just beautiful.”
Ms Templeton breeds Aussie Bulldogs and also has a couple of more energetic French Bulldogs.
The whole pack can hardly wait for grand final day.
“We just never thought it would get to this point but this year, we feel there is something special about the playing group,” Ms Templeton said.
