Buninyong kept its unbeaten record alive in the Ballarat District Bowls Division Super Dome Series playoffs after comfortably accounting for Ballan and remaining atop of the Moorabool division. Coming into the final round of the season five teams were already assured of a finals position – Victoria, Buninyong, Sebastopol Gold, Midlands Golf and Creswick. Creswick boasted a 6-1 record to qualify on top of the Goldfields division while Victoria and Sebastopol Gold led the way in the Metropolitan and Central divisions respectively. The competition will now enter its finals series which sees the top three teams from each division automatically qualify while the four next best performing clubs across the entire competition receive wild card entries. The finalists are split in half into their respective conferences while top-of-the-division sides earn the right to play the wild card entrants.
