Ballarat Clarendon College rowing director Ross Henderson has been recognised for his long-standing work within the rowing circles of Victoria.

He was awarded with the Susie Palfreyman award for his contribution to the sport. Henderson is entering his 18th rowing season with the school and previously spent five years as the state development coordinator with Rowing Victoria in Melbourne. The rowing stalwart was honoured to accept the award and said it was great to share the award with many of his respected peers at the annual Rowing Victoria awards night.
“I’m very honoured, a lot of people I believe are wonderful ambassadors of the sport that could of got it before me,” Henderson said.
