Head coach Marc Greig is confident the North Ballarat Roosters will reap the benefits of a series of operations and carefully managed off-season rest to the top-end of their player list when it launches the new season.

Tony Lockyer (thumb), Nathan Rippon (thumb), Ollie Tate (foot) and Sam Hooper (knee) have had surgery.
Greig said Lockyer, Rippon and Tate were all on target for full pre-seasons.
He is also upbeat about James Keeble (knee), Luke Kiel (groin), Shaun Lyle (hip) and Andrew Hooper after extended rest.
Greig said Andrew Hooper was in good shape after an injury-riddled year, which included shoulder surgery, and ankle and hamstring issues.
Greig said the Roosters had put a lot of work into ensuring players with injuries at the end of the season were put on programs which gave them the best possible chance to have extended pre-seasons and be ready at the start of next season.
Pre-season training starts at Eureka Stadium for first and second-year players on Wednesday, November 9, and all other players on Friday, November 11.
