The two acts are undertaking a series of concerts in picturesque open-air settings, including North Gardens at Lake Wendouree, amidst trips to Hobart, Byron Bay, Bribie Island and Adelaide.
Both internationally successful, folk artist Rudd and ska/jazz outfit Cat Empire have been headlining festivals for more than a decade.
Supporting the established musicians will be multi-instrumentalist Darren Harts, Sydney six-piece psychedelic reggae fusion band Ocean Alley, and indie pop artist Sahara Beck.
The event will be held Sunday, January 29.
