Two men allegedly involved in a Ballarat East aggravated burglary which left a man with minor gun-shot wounds will appear in court at later date.

A 31-year-old Smythes Creek man and a 20-year-old Redan Man have both been charged over the alleged incident which occurred in the early hours of October 11.
Police allege a number of shots were fired during the aggravated burglary.
A Ballarat East man who was left with minor gun-shot wounds was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Armed Crime Squad detectives have charged the two men with aggravated burglary, recklessly cause serious injury, pervert the course of justice and firearm related offences.
They have also been charged under new Victorian Crimes Act legislation with intimidation relating to involvement in a criminal proceeding.
This offence came into effect in Victoria on October 5 and carries a penalty of 10 years’ imprisonment.
Both men have been remanded and will appear before the Ballarat Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
