A man has been charged over a hit and run attack on a delivery driver in which the driver's truck was allegedly stolen and used to run him down.

A 35-year-old man was arrested in Williamstown on Thursday over the October 13 incident.
Moreland detectives allege he stole a white Hino truck from Barkly Street, Brunswick about 1.30pm.
The owner found the truck near the corner of Union and Little Gold streets a short time later.
Police believe he attempted to reclaim the vehicle but was struck by it before the truck careened into a parked car.
The delivery driver had been hospitalised with serious injuries to his face, pelvis, leg and abdomen.
The 35-year-old man faced an out-of-sessions hearing on Thursday and was charged with traffic offences including reckless conduct endangering life and reckless conduct endangering serious injury.
He is due to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday.
