Police attended a car fire early on Sunday morning after a witness sighted smoke coming from a nearby street.

Senior Sergeant Neale Robinson said a witness called triple zero when she noticed smoke coming from Heinz Road while driving through Delacombe.
Police and CFA attended the fire at around 6.40am.
Senior Sergeant Robinson said a dark coloured sedan was completely destroyed by the fire and had number plates that did not belong to the car.
Police are continuing their investigations.
