Council, alongside other neighboring municipalities, has commissioned research scientists from Deakin University to identify how climate change will impact farming in the Central Highlands Region through to 2070.
Climate change is recognised as one of the leading drivers of change for Australian agriculture, with experts believing it is crucial for farmers to be equipped with appropriate knowledge and information to plan for such change.
Research results will be available at the free workshop running from 10am to 12pm on Friday, November 4 at the Bannockburn Cultural Centre Main Hall.
