BALLARAT Police are expected to lay charges today following a single-car accident in Shari Drive Delacombe last night.
Shortly after 8.30pm the male driver of a Mitsubishi sedan allegedly lost control of the vehicle driving east, narrowly missing the front wall of a house and a nearby fence.
Nearby residents watched on as a tow truck removed the car from the property’s front garden.
Three Victoria Police units attended the accident, arresting the man and taking statements from witnesses.
Tyre marks showed the car had driven across the front lawn of the property, hitting rocks and a water metre before lodging in a garden bed.
No injuries were reported from the accident.
