The Bulls surpassed North Ballarat's total of 100 with eight wickets in hand on its way to 6-182 off its 20 overs.
The Roosters were thankful it had Melbourne Renegades batsman Tom Beaton on its side for the clash. Beaton scored a game-high 53, opening the batting for North Ballarat.
He was the only Roosters batsmen to make it to double figures as the side were unable to put together consistent partnerships. It was eventually all-out in the 19th over for 100 runs.
Ryan Knowles and Kyle Hayes did the damage with the ball taking three wickets each. Beaton also led the way for North Ballarat with the ball, taking 2-21 off his four overs.
But a half-century from opener Sam Giblett helped Brown Hill deliver a 79-run opening stand and set up the successful run chase.
