Basketball: David Usher second Miners import from University of Delaware

Ballarat Miners have landed a second import from the University of Delaware for the 2017 South East Australian Basketball League season.

Davon Usher, 24, will join Fightin' Blue Hens teammate Marvin King-Davis, who has also been signed to make his SEABL debut next year.

Usher was a two-time all-conference player with Delaware and conference champion player in his senior year in 2014 alongside King-Davis. The guard led the Blue Hens in scoring and rebounding.

Usher has played in Italy and Iceland, as well as with Maine Red Claws (2015) and Delaware 87ers (2016) in the NBA D-League.

He has also attended NBA pre-draft work-outs with Washington, Utah, Philadelphia and Denver.
