Man who was subject of citizen’s arrest remanded

A 19-year-old Creswick man who was the subject of a citizen’s arrest on Tuesday night has been remanded into custody.

Wade Turner appeared briefly before the Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday afternoon.

Ballarat Divisional Response Unit Senior Sergeant Darren Tanis said Turner was charged with conduct endangering persons and two counts of theft of motor vehicle.
