Police have called for witnesses who saw a man allegedly throwing several women onto railway tracks at a Melbourne train station.

The 47-year-old Carnegie man is accused of assaulting five women who were waiting at the Glenhuntly train station on Sunday.
Paramedics arrived about 11.15am and treated the injured, including two women in their 80s with leg and hip injuries and a woman in her 70s with facial injuries.
A woman in her late teens suffered cuts, abrasions and was treated for shock.
The man was charged with 26 offences, including attempted murder, intentionally causing serious injury, affray, unlawful assault and making threats to kill.
Police believe several people who had been at the scene got on trains and left before investigators arrived.
The man was remanded and will appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on December 5.
